Pacifica - Hawaiian Ruby Guava and Tuscan Blood Orange Perfume Review

Hii Lovelies!

Pacifica is a brand that's been on my radar now for quite some time. Fruity, sweet fragrances are my scent of choice and Tuscan Blood Orange is a scent that has popped up time and time again in many a popular Youtuber's videos. I'd lusted over their website for a good year or so but sadly, up until recently they did not ship to the UK. With another pang of lust over these scents a quick google search showed me that Feel Unique had started stocking a lot of the range, hurrah! So with a frantic search for coupon codes (FeelUnique almost always have a coupon or two running) i finally snagged these two babies!

Hawaiian Ruby Guava (RRP: £20) was a scent i hadn't heard too much about but from a quick look at the notes was something i almost certainly would adore. It reminds me lots of the Guava Rubicon drink with an added coconut kick... Now that would make a great beverage! Its a tropical, sweet and fruity scent that i just cant get enough of. I absolutely love it. I only have one gripe and sadly, its quite a big one. It just doesn't last on the skin. An hour or so after a good few sprays (i like to drown myself in it really...) theres little to no scent left behind, which is a real shame.

"Inspired by a surfing trip to Hawaii, this sexy and sultry tropical blend combines sweet, berry-like notes of Guava with a bright, citrusy top note of Pomelo and a warm and subtle Coconut base." (Source, FeelUnique)

Tuscan Blood Orange (RRP: £20) is probably Pacifica's most famous fragrance and with good reason. Its a gorgeous sweet orange scent that really, really reminds me of old school Sunny D, before they changed it for all those health reasons. Its not too tart or sharp for an orange scent and has a good amount of sweetness to balance it out. Its really one of those scents that makes me happy with a quick sniff. This is probably my favourite of the two but again the lasting power really really sucks. I'm so torn because i absolutely love the scents, but i can see myself running through these  really quickly.

"In this delectable blend, juicy and spicy Blood Orange is offset with subtle Strawberry and Raspberry notes and grounded in fleshy Mandarin and Italian Sweet Orange. An orange connoisseur's dream."  (Source, FeelUnique)

Price wise for a perfume these are pretty good at £20 but for me they only have the lasting power (maybe a tad longer) of a body spray with is a big big let down. Although they do have solid perfumes within the range, so I'm a bit tempted to say the least to give those a bash.
Overall i think these are a fruity fragrance lovers dream, just a real shame about the lasting power. Would i repurchase? Probably. I really do adore the scents and their lower price points make up for their lack of staying power for me. These really are perfect for summer and a quick splash of tropical scent. If you're into more mature, sophisticated scents I'd probably give these a miss.

Available from Feel Unique here.

Fresh - Sugar Lychee Perfume Review

Hii Lovelies!
This is one of those "Youtuber's made me do it!" kinda purchases. I've had and loved the Fresh lip balms in the past but after hearing in countless videos and blog posts about their Sugar Lychee perfume i just knew i had to get my hands on it! Oh and it does not disappoint!

I made my poor boyfriend trek around London earlier this year just to find the Fresh store, so i could grab myself a little bottle of this gorgeousness and repurchase my most beloved lip balm. The Fresh store isn't particularly hard to find and is a 5-10 minute walk from Selfridges which isn't too bad. I had to be very restrained and only pick up the two bits i wanted which is a near impossible task in this store. The have so many lovely products and the sales staff are so friendly!

As you can probably tell by the name Sugar Lychee is a gorgeous, fruity, fresh (i know, i could have used a better word...) scent and its safe to say I'm well and truly in love. Its on the citrus side and i really pick up the lovely lemon notes to it. I'm a scent happy kind of person and certain fragrances really can brighten my mood, to me it really is an uplifting, light, refreshing scent that i can see myself happily repurchasing over and over again. My one gripe with it is the lasting power isn't the greatest, after about 4-5 hours i can only faintly detect it lingering around, which is a shame since it is priced around £35 for a 30ml bottle. But it is lovely enough to overlook the slightly shabby lasting power for a scent that literally makes me happy every time i smell it.

"Sugar Lychee Eau de Parfum is a fruity fragrance inspired by the exotic and luscious lychee fruit housed in an artisanal glass bottle.

Top Notes: grapefruit, Italian lemon, lime blossom
Middle Notes: lychee, lotus lower, freesia
Bottom Notes: sandalwood, tonka bean, amber." (Source, Fresh.com)

Gorgeous!

Overall this little beauty is nearing the top of my all time favourites list and one i would repurchase in a heartbeat. I just wish they had an online store here in the UK! I believe Fresh only have one London store but they will take mail orders over the phone if you are that desperate to try some of their stuff. If you love sweet, citrus scents this is one i really recommend giving a sniff!

Viva La Juicy Noir - Review

Ello lovelies!

A quickie perfume review for you lovely lot today! This was a bit of a splurge for me at £63 for 100ml but i did have around £45 of Debenhams points to spend at the time, so its not toooooo bad. I'm a big fan of the original Viva La Juicy fragrance, its so fresh and fruity and perfect for day wear that when i spotted this little gem i had to give it a sniff!

Viva La Juicy Noir is the originals night time counterpart. Its a little darker, sweeter and more akin to the usual sickly sweet scents i normally opt for. If you can't already tell, I'm a fan!

If you love scents like (i shamefully love this one) Britney Spears Fantasy and want something a little more sophisticated i really recommend giving this one a whiff. The same if you're a fan of the regular Viva La Juicy and just fancy spicing up your perfume collection next time you run out, definitely check this little beauty out! I'm rubbish with scent descriptions so I'll leave this one to the experts.

"An enticing interpretation of the original best-selling Viva La Juicy fragrance, Viva La Juicy Noir highlights the succulent ripe berry notes and gourmand accents of the classic scent with a touch of honeysuckle and sandalwood." (Source, Debenhams.com)

Overall I'm a little bit smitten with this fragrance and its become my evening scent choice for the last month or so, it just smells delicious! For everyone put off by the £63 price tag, Debenhams do stock a duo rollerball option with the original and the Noir scent for a mere £9.99, so a little bit of both for a more affordable price!

Bath & Bodyworks Haul!

 Ello lovelies!
You'll have to excuse the shoddy lighting for these pictures, winter has officially kicked in where i live and the seriously gloomy weather is proving difficult when it comes to taking snaps! I want to be back in the sun, boo!

Anyways, as promised here is the first of my haul posts from my recent USA trip! I've been back nearly two weeks now and it feels like a lifetime! But rather than boo hoo'ing over not being there I'm enjoying all the goodies i picked up! I could have filled my suitcase in Bath and Bodyworks, i was in heaven! Soooo many yummy scents to choose from and so many options, fragrance, candle, shower gel and body lotion. And its all so reasonably priced, i loved it! Next time i may even purchase an extra 5k purely for this shop!
I went a little mad on the fragrance mists, they were buy 3 get 2 free so i had to really didn't I? At $14 each it worked out at quite a bargain, but it took me SO long to decide on fragrances and there are still two I'm eyeing on eBay... I have to say it was quite hard to work out which ones i liked because as you can imagine its quite a fragrant shop, think walking into lush in the UK! But i eventually whittled it down to just five, i would of had ten if the boyfriend hadn't of told me off. I get a bit carried away!
On our second trip i decided i needed these three, with no more room for full sizes i picked up three minis. At 3 for $10 again it was a bit of a bargain! I SOOOOO wish I'd got a full size of Be Enchanted as it is my favourite, such a sweet, girly smell, kinda reminded me of Britney Spears Fantasy but fruitier, yum!
We arrived as 2 for $20 was on so i had to pick up two... and then go back for another two. I wouldn't of been able to face burning them if i only had one each. Yes its crazy logic, but i now have two Leaves and two Cinnamon Sugared Donut... One for smelling, one for burning. Crazy women logic right there! But they smell soooooo goooood, Leaves really does live up to the hype! Cinnamon Sugared Donut smells so edible it makes me hungry, I'm really looking forward to burning these.
Pocket Bacs! I bloody love 'em!
I was lucky enough to be gifted 10 for Christmas last year and i can't get enough of them. I'm a bit of a clean freak so having one of these in my handbag is essential! I spent a good 20 minutes choosing scents and making sure i had doubles of my two favourites, Fresh Market Apple and Island Margarita! I also picked up a Candy Corn and a Pumpkin one for a couple of my friends.

So that's it! I splurged quite a bit but i think i only spent around $100 in total, that's with other peoples gifts so not a bad spend at all. Ooooh Bath and Bodyworks please start shipping to the UK, my bank balance will hate you but I'd be dead chuffed! Ha!

I've got my Drugstore and Sephora hauls coming up over the next week or so! And I've got lots of goodies to share!

Have you been to Bath and Bodyworks before?
Whats your favourite scent?
