A little motivation...

Ello lovelies!
A bit of a different post from me today!

My entire life I've had a little bit of an obsession with Florida, and I've been lucky enough to go a good few times as a child. But this years been a little different, as I'm old enough (waaaah) to save up myself... and I am
determined to go this September.

I'm a huge theme park fan, and Florida has some of the best! Some people may think its tacky, i just love it! I'm a big kid at heart and squeeeeee with excitement at all the new attractions. So I've been on (and still am on) a saving mission. So over the next few months my beauty budget has well and truly shrunk, don't worry, I've still got a few naughty high end bits to share with you soon, but for the most part I'm going to try my very hardest (although I'm a bit rubbish) to save, save, save!

So i thought I'd share a few pictures of my favourite Florida things (and indulge my obsession just a teeny weeny bit).

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I've got some new high end bits and bobs to review soonish, but I'm going to work on uploading more looks and "shopping the stash" style posts. Of course there's still gunna be the odd haul and review, because frankly, i wouldn't be able to help myself!

What is your dream holiday?

  2. Yayyyyy my favorite! I just went at the end of February <3 Magic Kingdom was open 24 hours for Leap Day and my husband and I visited the four Disney parks and did absolutely everything in one 20-hour stretch (it was exhausting but amazing) :D You'll have so much fun!

    2. I worked out there :) I did a mini diary on my blog last summer. I worked at Blizzard beach. They give you a minimum of 40 hours a week work, but I was lucky as I just gave my shifts away to the USA workers (they love working!). So I used my day offs to explore :) I'd never been before, I must admit its not at all my kind of place, and I won't return, but I see why some people like it! Theyre really strict about hair/appearance etc though for the work experience. Its brilliant though, if you get the chance to do it.. go! xx

    3. Ooo! thanks Victoria I'll be hunting through your blog to find the posts! As much as i love the idea of working there, i don't think I'm cut out for 40 hour weeks in that heat. I'm really looking forward to going to September! But it seems lucky such a great experience! xox

    4. Sorry to jump in on this - I was talking to a girl who worked at Seaworld about the tattoo on my arm and she said that they are really strict over there about everything like that not just in Seaworld (I understand there because it's a family place) but just at the majority of workplaces where you're dealing with members of the public. It's my absolute dream to move out there one day, even if it's just for a year or two, but I don't think they'd appreciate my tattoos and constant change of hair colour!

  6. You can do it girl!! September's far enough away that you can easily budget how much you think you'll need for the entire trip and divide that by the number of weeks you have until you leave. Then you can just make sure you set aside that amount each week. It makes it easier to break it down into small bits. I totally understand being tempted to buy beauty products though. I'm trying to save for a London/Amsterdam/Iceland/Norway trip this October and it takes everything in my power to not buy pretty things. There are JUST SO MANY!

Also a YouTuber (Jen of 'My Housewife Life') did a series of vlogs recently on her trip to Disneyworld. They made me want to go there so badly. You should look them up if you've got a bit of time on your hands.

  8. It's my favourite place in the world (not travelled that much but still it's so gorgeous there I don't think I'd ever want to go anywhere else). I went in 2010 and can't wait to go back, things have been cropping up constantly meaning I haven't been able to go but next year is a definite as I've just got a new job! When I was last there it was a month before the Harry Potter attraction opened (as they pushed it back) so I got to walk through it but it had boards up so couldn't see much, so disappointed :( Good luck saving! have a lovely time if you go :)
